User permissions related to Bills

A summary of what you can see and do from the Bills page, depending on your access

Key permissions

Bills: View -> gives you the ability to view any Bill.
Bills: Manage -> gives you the ability to view and edit any Bill.

Any other users, they will only be able view and edit Bills that they themselves upload.

Payments: Create -> Gives you the ability to create payments against a bill.

Migration of these permissions (for accounts older than 19th Jan 2024)

On Friday 19th Jan, we migrated two permissions to the Bills product - a much requested feature. The permissions are as described above.

To create these permissions, we did a mapping of all users who previously had Payments: View to Bills: View, and Payments: Create to Bills: Manage. If you do need to grant the Bills permissions to anyone, you can do so from the Team page.
