Transition guide for Approval Workflows (16th-17th December upgrade)

Everything you need to know about your Approval workflows before and after this weekend's upgrade

If you're already using Paytron's approval workflows for your payments before the launch of our new Approvals upgrade on the weekend of the 16th-18th December, your existing approval policy will be replicated exactly in the new upgrade.

All payments that are in "Needs Approval" status at the start of the upgrade window will also be moved into the new workflow in the exact same status (including anyone who's already approved it).

So what will change?

1. Instead of finding your policy on the Setup > Account page, you'll now be able find it on the Approvals > Policies page.

2. You'll still be able to approve your payments from the Needs Approval tab on the Payments page, but you'll also be able to see a list of all your pending approvals on the Approvals tab.

3. If you want, you'll now be able to apply additional approval policies on top of your pre-existing policy. For more information on the possibilities in the new features, please check out this guide.
