How do I navigate Paytron?

In this short video, we'll walk you through everything you'll need in Paytron.

Hello and welcome to Paytron. We are so glad you've decided to get onboard and we'd quickly like to walk you through how to navigate the platform and find key features. Let's start on the dashboard. This page is your high level view of what's happening in your account, showing you a summary of your recent transactions, upcoming payments, and your account balances.

As your account is filled with more data, you can use this page to track and forecast your cash flows and keep up to date with actions taken by your colleagues. While we are here, take note of the top menu, which contains key views unique to each page on the dashboard. The other key views is the Help Centre, which contains helpful videos relevant to this page, facts and questions, helpful tips and more. Keep an eye on this top menu as we move through the pages.

And remember, the Help Centre is always available and contextually relevant on each page. While the dashboard has a quick view of your available balances in various global accounts, you can see more details by going to the Accounts page. On this page, you can convert currencies, create new global accounts, and find the account details you'll need to make a deposit or receive payments from your customers.

The next page to see is the Payments page. This is where you can make payments, upload invoices, and view your payment workflow containing all payments from Draft to Done. On the top left, you can see a summary of payments in Draft and Scheduled, and you can click into this summary for more details. In the middle of the page, you can see your payments table organised into different categories. Any payments that need your attention will be shown in To Do while everything else will either be In Flight or Done.

To make a new payment manually or based on an invoice, use the two action buttons on the top right of your screen. If you have any payments that have been pulled from your accounting platform or payments that have been sent to your dedicated email address, they will automatically show up in To Do and only manual work required is a review and confirmation. Once you have made a payment, deposit, received a payment from a customer or any other cash flow, you'll find a record of it on the Transactions page from this page.

You can also export your transaction data in a range of formats by clicking on the ‘Export’ button on the top right and following the steps. Now let's look at where to find things relevant to your account. On the top right of your screen, you can see a dropdown with your company name or your own name if you are a personal account, clicking on this dropdown, you can see any other account connected to your user profile and a link to your Settings page.

If you follow the link, you'll be taken to Administrator settings if you have the relevant permissions or your personal account settings. If you don't, the Admin settings include your company details as well as a few other key items on the right. This is where you can connect to your accounting provider, invite and manage team members, and set up your company branding.

If you plan on using Paytron as a team and you want to segregate duties and maintain internal controls, click on ‘Invite a Colleague’ to get started. From here, you can also switch to the ‘My Account’ view, which will bring up your personal account details and two factor authorisation settings. If you have more questions, have a look through the help view on all of the pages to find more videos that run through the key workflows on Paytron.

You can also turn on helpful hints or the walkthrough for a specific summary of each component on the page. Lastly, remember that Paytron team is always on standby and you can chat to us by using the ‘Support’ button on the bottom left of your screen. We hope you enjoy Paytron and we look forward to hearing your feedback.
