How do I make a payment?

Making a payment domestically or Internationally is easy with Paytron. Invoices can be directly uploaded / emailed or connect with your accounting software (Xero & MYOB).

If you don’t have an invoice, you can also make payments straight to a beneficiary from the Paytron App.

Upload Invoice


There are three ways you can easily upload one or multiple invoices into the Paytron Ap.

  • Log into Paytron

  • Select “Payments” from the left sidebar menu.

  • Click “Upload Invoice”

1. Upload payments from device

  • Drop invoices or Select files from your computer
 

2. Email invoices

  • You can easily email-in one or multiple invoices with your unique email address into the Paytron System

  • Click copy to clipboard or copy the email address
  • Send or forward PDF/s to the unique email address
  • The invoice/s will then appear as a Draft in Payments

*Top Tip:

  • Save the email address as a contact to forward invoices directly to Paytron.
  • When using the email option, you can send as many invoices as the email server will allow

3. Connect with Xero

  • Upload documents to Xero

  • Publish invoices as unpaid to ‘Awaiting payments’

  • In ‘Awaiting Payment’, Paytron will sync all payments marked as unpaid

  • The invoice/s will then appear as a “Draft” in the Payments tab

Making a Payment

  • Select “Payments” from the left sidebar menu.

  • Select “Review” in the Drafts tab or “Make Payment” in the top right

  • Select and create a new beneficiary or an existing beneficiary from your list.

  • “Accept and Continue” to Payment.

  • Select how to fund the payment from Paytron Business Account [link], Direct Debit [link] or Credit Card [link].

  • Select when you want to make the payment.

  • Select the currency you want to fund the payment.

  • Confirm or edit the amount you’ll be sending.

  • “Accept and Continue” to Confirm

  • Review details of the payment and “Submit Payment”

Creating a beneficiary from the Paytron App

  • Log into Paytron

  • Select “Payments” tab from the left sidebar menu.

  • Select “Beneficiaries” from the dropdown menu

  • Click “Create New”

  • Enter Beneficiary name, email (optional) and entity type

  • Click “Next”

  • Select the country of the Beneficiary’s bank account, the currency the Beneficiary will receive and the Payment type to fund any payment.

  • Enter Bank details for Beneficiary bank account: BSB, Account Number and Name

  • Click “Next”

  • Review Beneficiary details and save

Note: Payment type can be changed when making any payment to the Beneficiary.

How do I update a Beneficiary contact in the Paytron App

  • Log into Paytron

  • Select “Payments” tab from the left sidebar menu.

  • Select “Beneficiaries” from the dropdown menu

  • Select the Beneficiary to open the Beneficiary summary

  • Click “Edit”

  • Update relevant details

Note: Payment type can be changed when making any payment to the Beneficiary.
